84mm Starr LS1 Performance Throttle Body

Designed by Starr Performance as an upgrade bolt on to standard LS1-LS6 manifolds.
The standard throttle body tapers down from 102mm to a 75mm butterfly and outlet. The problem with this however, is the throttle blade(butterfly) and shaft interfere with airflow, effectively reducing the diameter of the throttle outlet to much less than 75mm. It was calculated that the interference caused by an 84mm shaft and butterfly is equivalent to an open, uninterrupted 75mm diameter throttle body. Therefore, the Starr performance 84mm throttle body offers optimum flow for standard Gen III manifolds, and works exceptionally well with custom MAF and MAFless tunes.

Also, all standard throttle body hardware fits directly onto this Starr performance throttle body, ensuring simple fitment with no further accessories required.
