XForce Varex Exhaust Options to suit VE-VF V8 Commodore & HSV
The XForce Varex Cat Back Exhaust is a stainless steel adjustable cat back and will suit most VE-VF V6 – V8 sedan, ute, wagon & Caprice. A Varex cat back gives you the option to adjust you exhaust sound by remote control. This allows you to open and close a butterfly located in the rear mufflers. So you can drive up the street quite or roar down the freeway and really let the sound out.
You are able to purchase this as a D.I.Y or have JHP professionally install this at Melbourne workshop
Please note: This option will suit all HSV vehicles except LSA
Lets explain what is what!!!
Xforce cat backs come in two steel options
- High Grade, which is 304 Stainless steel and it comes in raw finish much like a factory exhaust.
- Low Grade, which is 409 Stainless steel and it comes in raw finish much like a factory exhaust.
Xforce Headers come in multiple size options and are finished in a raw, brushed silver look much like a factory exhaust.
- 1 5/8″ headers come with 2.5″ cats and work great with the 2.5″ cat back. The 1 5/8″ headers are perfect for the a standard car and up to street performance car.
- 1 3/4″ Headers come with 3″ cats and can be paired with either the 2.5 or 3″ cat back. The 1 3/4′ headers are a great all-rounder and will work great with standard car all the way to track car.
- 1 7/8″ Headers come with 3″ cats and work best with the 3″ cat back. The 1 7/8″ headers will work with a standard car but are more at home on a street performance or track car.
- Brushed finish headers are 304 Stainless steel with a brushed / satin silver finish.
What is a Smart Box?
The Varex Smart Box is a control device which lets the user to manually and automatically adjust the exhaust sound level of the Varex exhaust. The users can operate and make change to the settings of the Smart Box via an elegantly designed Smartphone App. The connections between the Smart Boxes and the smart phones are via the latest Bluetooth® technology, which provides an exceptionally reliable and smooth user experience.
