What does DBA have to say?

Rotors

DBA’s Street Series T2 rotor provides a direct replacement rotor. The rotor has the added benefit of performance braking through the use DBA’s patented T2 slot design.

The T2 rotor features precise CNC machined bi-symmetrical slots, resulting in a quieter and more responsive brake pedal feel. The T2 slot increases the number of exit points, allowing friction dust and gases to escape and enhancing the pad bite.

DBA’s revolutionary universal slot design also eliminates the need for separate left and right slot designs seen in traditional rotor designs.

Pads

STREET SERIES brake pads are the latest addition to DBA’s comprehensive range of braking products. Aimed at the OE replacement market, the range was developed with three technical objectives in mind – create a brake pad that performs at OE level or better, offers the best friction formulation for the application, and complements DBA’s long-established, market-leading range of STREET SERIES disc rotors.

Great attention was given to the development of the friction formulation to achieve a friction coefficient that outperforms the current market standard. Consequently, DBA did not settle on just one formulation, but offers either ceramic or semi-metallic formulations depending on application and required performance.

JHP recommends use with T2 slotted rotors for increased first application effectiveness and reducing bed-in time.
